E-FIR SERVICE

e-FIR is an alternative facility for filing an FIR, through which citizens can report incidents of theft by themselves through e-FIR at the concerned police station online. This service can only be used in cases of vehicle theft and general theft where:

1. Vehicle theft (less than 15 lakhs)
2. General theft (less than 1 lakh)
3. The accused is unknown
4. No use of force or injury is involved in the incident

Citizens can register themselves on the Madhya Pradesh Police website or the Citizen Portal https://citizen.mppolice.gov.in and file e-FIR using their registered ID. After filing the e-FIR application, the applicant will continue to receive updates on the various stages of the FIR through SMS and email. To use this service, click “Yes” –
